Hey guys!! Welcome back!! A few weeks ago I shared my "Goodwill Cabinet Makeover". I am using this to house my laundry essential. My puppy is 6 months old and he gets into everything. I found this beauty at Goodwill for $12.99.

Here are the things that you will need to complete a project like this:
  • Spray Paint ( I used rustoleum "gray" $3.87 per can) I used 3 cans
  • Sander
  • Primer
  • Knobs of your choice
  • Plywood or scrap wood to make a shelf.
  • Shelf bracket (you won't need a fancy one).
If you are just starting out with Diy's then this should be a very easy diy to start with.

Here is the inside of the cabinet. I had to put it on top of 2x4's so that I could spray the base of it without getting my grass. This cabinet weighs a ton and I had to move this thing by myself because my husband was at work. I will be using this for my laundry storage so I added a shelf to the inside. I was so happy when I saw this beauty in the goodwill. Sometimes I am amazed at what people get rid of. You can find tons of quality pieces at your local thrift store.

I used plywood for the shelf. I used basic shelf brackets to attach the shelf there were about $1 a piece from home depot. I also spray painted the inside a cream color.

Here is the finished product!!! I brought the basket from Goodwill for $5. It is very deep and holds a lot of my laundry essentials. I love this because it keep my laundry hidden and keeps my laundry room tidy!

I love the way this piece turned out and all for under $30!! Have you ever passed up a cabinet from Goodwill because you didnt know what to do with it?
